Oh? @bostonpolice paid $36 MILLION from 2005-2015 for civil rights violations committed by police. And that's *WITH* QI on the books, which quashes MOST suits even if courts recognize rights HAVE been violated. 70% of FIOs target Black people. BPD embodies racism & violence.
Seemingly lost in the conversation about police reform is the fact that men and women of BPPA make up one of most professional, progressive police depts in the nation. So, when elected officials use an incident a 1,000 miles away to justify reform here, the insult is obvious.
