Hi @Chase I've been trying to get into my account all day but your verification calls aren't coming through to my new phone, and I cannot make calls to you either. Is there some other way to verify identity?

It’s just going to be one tragic catastrophe after another during this man’s presidency.

🚨 #BREAKING: Officials are “preparing for this to be the deadliest disaster here in Washington in decades” No survivors have been found so far on the American Airlines flight.

Just heard that the @adelwritersweek event with @mashagessen has been cancelled. I *really* hope the Aus govt hasn’t been giving M visa difficulties again. So embarrassing that entire saga.

Working on a new story for The Guardian and I realised (realized) that I now actually write in an Australian voice. Like in my head, the words have an Australian accent. This is so weird! I don't speak with an accent, most of the time.

Does anyone out there have insight into this: How do MFA programs feel about taking students who are already publishing books/agented? Do they see these students as unteachable or less desirable somehow?

That fun part of the evening where I just lie here with the bedside lamp on until the mosquito buzzes by, then try to kill it, then if I miss have to wait ten minutes for next chance

Two thoughts about final season of the crowd: 1) Fayed's speech is.... insane. Like wow. And the whole episode about Margaret... didn't really need it. Too up close and personal, and sad. Otherwise, smashing (as the Brits say).

Anyone here have or know of 2024 release memoirs? I’d love to know about them (for writing and teaching purposes)

“…in this memoir which details her life as a freelance journalist and waitress in NYC, the author surprises herself by discovering a different catalyst for reinvention: pétillant-naturel.” standard.co.uk/shopping/esbes… Thanks @EveningStandard!
