I liked @Sleep_Token before seeing them live, but after seeing them and listening to the Take Me Back To Eden album again I now think it is one of the best full albums I have ever heard. If you haven’t checked them out here is your sign!

Gonna be tricky keeping the buyer from eating the food before the purchase

Subway is exploring a sale valuing it at over $10 billion, per WSJ.

#apple #ios screen time parental controls are an absolute mess. I want to set an age limit for apps but whitelist specific apps. Apparently this is impossible, or at least impossible to find. Any recommendations on kid friendly tablet systems?

I watched House for the first time and was like “wow why isn’t this more popular” and it turns out it came out in 2004 and was the most popular show in the world for 8 years

Of course, I’d recognize Alien Ant Farm anywhere

Twitter, please settle an argument—if I said to you "Annie, are you okay, are you okay Annie?" would you recognise these (famous) song lyrics without looking them up?

I like that autocorrect used to be amazing like I could type basically garbage and it would magically get it right, and now I’ll be trying to say time out like “tim eout” and iPhone says “oh I know you are trying to say TIGER ONION like people say all the time”

Are we absolutely sure somebody wasn’t trying to show Russell Wilson how Marshawn Lynch felt?

#LOTR is one of my favorite movie series ever and I have to say so far I am really enjoying Rings of Power. Missed opportunity to throw in Bowie’s Starman though!

Okay seeing spider grippers everywhere would absolutely be the thing that breaks me so please no

Researchers have turned dead spiders into necrobotic grippers capable of lifting items that weigh more than 100 times their own body weight.

I ask questions but turn this around: if they ask you something, was that information you should have already shared? Are you noting that for future interviews? If you did this consistently, how long till they wouldn’t need to ask questions? And then would fail the interview 🤔

This post is unavailable.

Am I the only one hoping Broadcom renames it to VMWare?

My son loves playing Skip Bo but these cards are so poorly cut they are unshuffleable! Can we get a good replacement ⁦@Mattel⁩ ??

One thing that surprised me as a grown up is how many strong opinions I would have about coffee cups and mugs. Young, naive Joel thought they were all about the same. Ahhh the blissful ignorance of youth.

Lots of people complain about life stories before #recipes but my bigger peeve is 200 5 star reviews of “this looks delicious, can’t wait to try it!!!”

Lounge bouncer: I don’t need a thing for you but will need some age verification from her My wife, 1 year older than me:

I don’t know about anybody else but if you don’t set a reminder for your meeting invite AND you hope I attend it, please prepare to be disappointed.

We’re rolling back from tape

Scare an engineer in just one tweet. 👻

I have had a long-standing “ask 3 people” rule for these kind of things that has served me well over the years. I highly recommend it. Different people come to understand (or misunderstand) how things work based on their experience.

PSA: There's a lot of misinformation out there in these internets. Don't take someones tech opinion (including mine) as truth. Do the research, check credentials of your fav social media tech influencer. Have they actually worked in the space or have they just read about it?
