For those using GERS figures as an argument for the union. Important things to remember: GERS figures account for Scotland as a part of the UK, not as a separate nation. UK wide costs which are not controlled by the Scottish Government are applied to Scotlands expenditure.

Can any reasonable unionist explain why Norway, Finland, Estonia, Denmark, Ireland etc can be successful European nations but Scotland cannot? If you offered any one of these aforementioned nations the chance to come under the Westminster wing how many would take the offer? 🤔
