His Majesty King Charles approved The Royal Army Medical Service name. The amalgamation will ensure that the next generation of the Army will continue to be supported by a modern corps capable of delivering healthcare on exercises and operations at home and around the world.

This week Acting Leading Naval Nurses from JHGS, were put through their paces on the Pre Leading Rates Leadership Course. Honing their Command, Leadership and Management skills. In preparation to lead on future deployed operations.

Today, JHG(S) gathered with patients, staff, visitors, and dignitaries at Queen Alexandra Hospital for a moving Service of Remembrance. It was an honor to join @PHU_NHS in commemorating this important occasion and to lay wreaths side by side in a shared tribute.

Today a group of JHGS personnel were privileged to attend a Nursing & Midwifery conference hosted by @PHU_NHS. The theme for the day was 'what do I need to know about you'. We were treated to a range of fascinating talks & plenary sessions including one delivered by our own CO!
This week military and civilian staff have volunteered alongside their clinical commitments at @PHU_NHS @ArmedPHU and HQ to support @PoppyLegion. It’s been a fantastic opportunity to connect with veterans and the public, sharing what we do. #RemembranceDay #Remembrance

Last week, Cpl Crisp placed a wreath on behalf of the RCN at the Cavell Memorial service. As part of the RCN Defence Forum, Cpl Crisp honored Edith Cavell, the courageous WW1 nurse who treated soldiers on both sides. Thanks to @CavellTrust @rcn_dnf @theRCN.
Yesterday members of JHGS were rowing the distance from the QA hospital, Portsmouth to SWORD, GOLD and JUNO beaches in Normandy where allied troops landed on D-Day. This endeavour is to honour the memory of D-Day & raise money for both #QAHCharity @houndsforheroes @PHU_NHS
During the Defence Paramedics Conference, the College of Paramedics signed the Armed Forces Covenant. Promising to uphold fairness & respect for those who have served, as well as their families, in all aspects of society, recognising the unique obligations & sacrifices made.
