Theatres, a thought: can we please start referring to access offered rather than impairment that requires it. I’ve been encouraged to use captioning glasses due to audio processing difficulties, yet as I am not D/deaf or HoH, language really discourages me from asking for access.

I’m on a plane and the entire flight sat still so that a man in the last seat at the back of the plane could get off and run to his next flight to try to make it to his twin daughters’ first father daughter-dance. Everyone rooted him on and clapped as he rushed down the aisle. 🥰

Went Valentines card shopping with grandkids tonight and ran into a just-married bride and her step-daughter flower girl in wedding attire, just before the store closed.

It's also what makes humans so good at surviving extreme situations - our drive to help one another. As human beings, our strength lies in our relationships with one another and our focus on making sure everyone makes it through. These are our very best instincts.
