I can't say that, one way or the other. I can say that Ingrid may have reasons to protect you from them that you don't and quite possibly don't want to understand. In fairness to Regina, I was a no-roots non-committal bailbondsperson with a criminal record.

Well. How do I put this? When I came to Storybrooke, Regina saw me as a threat to more than just her. She was worried I was unhealthy to have around Henry and his seeking me out was a threat to her family that mattered to her. Literally the only thing that had mattered.
I don't know why she would be threatening them though. They didn't want me...
Ingrid's good like that. She tried to adopt me. I just... She did something crazy and terrifying and I ran. She's a good one, though. I miss her a lot, these days.
I found some of my adoptive mom's stuff...she's been hiding my real name from me for 13 years...and she knows who my real parents are. I found some letters, she's been threatening them to stay away from me. I don't know their names though, but apparently they live here.
Yeah. It was pretty hard to believe my parents actually did after not seeing them for 28 years. . . . And the few parental figures I had before that who weren't complete pieces of shit were either outright crazy or an ice princess from a story book.

I was in a foster home too...my Aunt Narissa wasn't exactly kind...I got taken away when I was three, I bounced around in foster homes for a while. Aunt Narissa told me that my parents never wanted me..I understand how you feel.
I thought they were okay and made the mistake of saying that JUST ONE TIME around fans of the books and I was never so glad to get shoved to a group home in another city. They made living with the idiots who stole your only belongings seem NICE after you say something like that.
