3. If you have to abandon your apartment and break the lease empty it and clean it good, then take lots of pictures documenting the condition. This will save you money down the road. 4. Avoid the temptation to tell your landlord to “screw off”. They’ll remember that later.
My best advice right now to renters out there. 1. Make contact with your landlord and give them your status. Find out what policies they have going forward. 2. Document interactions now so there is less confusion later. #rentstrike
