How I've felt in SF thus far
Well, I was laid off at The Washington Post today. It's been an honor to work with some of the best journalists in the business. I'm hoping to continue reporting, producing videos and finding long-forgotten archival footage. If you have any openings, reach out.
Imma draw this later today and wait for my cease and desist
Instead of fucking around with ghibli, I dare these cunts to use disney properties in their AI. Let's do mickey mouse holding a Palestinian flag and see how quick laws will be enacted.
drawing instruments have been widely available tools as far back as cave drawings. creating art is so accessible, a caveman could do it.
never have i seen a more succinct telling of the AI relationship to culture art has always been accessible my friend. what you lack is the constitution — or the will — to bring it into being
this mans is only capable of thinking about what we can do, not what we should do
images in chatgpt are wayyyy more popular than we expected (and we had pretty high expectations). rollout to our free tier is unfortunately going to be delayed for awhile.
“An ad that pretends to be art is — at absolute best — like somebody who smiles warmly at you only because he wants something from you. This is dishonest, but what’s sinister is the cumulative effect that such dishonesty has on us [...] It causes despair.”
Claude for prompting + ChatGPT for static generation is insane. I made all of these entirely with AI. Vibe marketing is HERE.
Opening social media makes me think everyone thinks AI image generation is one of the best tools ever created, and I couldn’t disagree more, but it often feels like I’m the only one who believes that. Really glad this clip surfaced. Makes me feel less insane and alone.
maybe we should normalize calling something a really stupid idea in product meetings
DoorDash and Klarna have signed a deal where customers can choose to pay for food deliveries in interest-free installments or deferred options aligned with payday schedules.
i think one of my favorite images from the internet is the club penguin one where the ages “18 and over” is just an old penguin because this is exactly how i feel
Creative people need time to sit around and do nothing
I always said I’d never move to NYC, but now I’m reconsidering. Say it like it is.

some dude posted a vid of a turtle mad at him and i have to agree. this is the maddest turtle of all-time 🐢😡😡😡😂
boar wearing pants, france, 14th century
how about instead of "do we go back to the office? do we work from home forever?" we just don't work
The BIG problem is because of car manufacturing influence, most media & political energy is in EVs, with not NEARLY enough going into fewer cars/less driving. But the priority HAS to be the latter, since it’s the part of the solution that will actually do much more public good.
