Talk about a waste of money. On Saturday, I was biking back from the Mall and ran into a band of ICE thugs at the G'town waterfront. The place packed with children and parents and the goons were talking about bringing in the vans. Brilliant!
If serious about impacting crime in DC this isn't the place to be. This is where you go to put on a show for tourists. Though I guess the next time DC911/@OUC_DC screws up and sends emergency crews intended for the National Mall to a neighborhood five miles away they can help…

This Columbia University "settlement" is an abomination. How can you claim you are an educational institution if you are willing to sell your academic integrity for $400 million?
She's not politically involved? That's the problem in a nutshell. So many of our fellow citizens look at democracy from the sidelines as if it' s someone else's responsibility to safeguard their rights. Reinstitute the draft, as more than military service, and see the change.
