Gas Outage Latest: @SGNgas are now set up at River Village Hall for information etc. Extra hotplates and heaters will be arriving soon. Please head down to the Village Hall if you need help
Gas Outage Latest: leak found & pipe changed. System will need to be flushed. @SGNgas will then be able to slowly start reconnecting households & hope to have it fixed by this evening. Currently out of heaters but should have more around 11am, avail. from the van in Lewisham Rd
GAS OUTAGE IN RIVER: As far as we know 150 houses are affected. 7 vans from @SGNgas currently working on the problem. They will provide heaters if needed. Call emergency no. to report 0800 111 999. Heaters also available from gas van in Lewisham Rd

KCC Urgent Road Closure 28th July 2025 It has been necessary to close Common Lane between Lewisham Road and 5 Common Lane to enable gulley repairs. Every effort is being made to maintain access for residents.
