The idea hit me one day: Why does donating feel like tossing money into a black box? No updates. No clarity. Just hope. So I started building a way to track where donations go and what they actually change. Waitlist is here: karmafolio.devolvdev.com

Karmafolio — Safer, Smarter Donations

Build your Karmafolio. Explore trusted causes. Auto-track your impact.

Thinking of showing 4 slides after first login: • What the platform is for • How a donor can use it • What someone in need can do • How verification works

What’s more likely to make you donate: a) scrolling through a long list of campaigns b) being auto-matched with causes that fit your interests?

If you had to choose: Would you rather donate directly to a hospital to help someone in need (hand-to-hand) OR donate through a verified organization that manages the cause? Which feels more impactful to you?

I AM PIVOTING !! After weeks of reflection, I’m pivoting my project. Same mission (making giving transparent & simple), new approach. Excited to share more soon

For those who donate online: •What features would make you trust a platform more? For those who don’t: •What holds you back from donating online?

I’m deciding what database to use for Karmafolio. Requirements: •Handles analytics (filters, pie charts, trends) •Low to zero cost to start •Easy to scale later •Simple to integrate with Node/Next.js What would you recommend? #buildinpublic #startup

I went from shitposting daily on Instagram to disappearing for 5 years. Why? It felt fake, it felt toxic. My social carbon footprint dropped by (10^10)^10. I came on X month ago, now got 18 followers, 3–4 likes a post… Honesty makes you feel like home here,I love humanity❤️

Every instagram entrepreneur advice: Work till you burn out. Sleep on your desk. Sacrifice weekends. Grind 24/7. Me: Tried it. Got dark circles, back pain, and insomnia. Still waiting on the millions.

Karmafolio just got its first waitlist response 🌱 Might be “just 1,” but it’s proof someone out there cares about transparent giving. From zero → one is the hardest step. Onwards... ✨ #buildinpublic #startupdiaries #karmafolio

None of us are born with a purpose. We just show up in this merciless world. We chase what attracts us, call it our dream when we’re stubborn enough to follow it, and along the way find our pact. That “belonging” is the highest purpose, but we often ignore it. Makes sense?

What’s stopping you to code from here?

Funny how people criticize founders for using AI to build the frontend. Isn’t that the whole point? If I’m strong in backend, product, and the core idea. why not use AI to ship what I’m not great at? It’s called leverage, not laziness.

Lost momentum early in the build. Mind wasn’t in the right place. Had the architecture, components, tasks lined up, but barely worked this week. Getting back on the grind now. Wish me luck. Any tips to avoid burning out or losing pace again?

It didn’t grow in a day. Neither will your dream. Keep watering it Good morning!!
