*rubbing hands*: all right, let's disrupt an industry <six hours of setting up basic web app boilerplate goes by> you know what, on second thought, the industry is fine

First time I've had a bad experience with @AmazonHelp ... apparently if an item goes on sale right after you buy it, you have to just buy a new one and return the old one in order to take advantage. Makes no sense for the environment when you could just as easily offer a credit.

*joins Clubhouse room* "I've been on TikTok for a month now and I love it here." *leaves quietly*

Lots of unique content on @joinClubhouse and I am definitely enjoying it so far. It's like a virtual conference where you can walk in and out of different speaker events. Big thanks to @kevon69 for the invite!

Vlad: "Robinhood stands for democratizing access to stocks... that's been very, very challenging, but we had no choice..."

Elon Musk to Vlad: "Is anyone holding you hostage right now? Blink twice." (tongue in cheek) Vlad: "No... thanks for asking"

Elon Musk to Vlad: "So this is what everyone wants to know... is something shady going on here?

Vlad introduces himself as the Robinhood CEO Elon: "Ya, we know..."

So Vlad from Robinhood and Elon Musk are both on Clubhouse together... insane.

Getting very comfortable with starting new things is a superpower.

The Gamestop thing is a reminder that investing is not the study of finance. It's the study of how people behave with money, and sometimes those behaviors are incredible.

Just bought @arvidkahl's book finally. Super excited to read Zero to Sold.

I discovered this too when I was looking at the tax rate of NYC. Always a nice reminder that high taxes != high tax rates. #realestate

Pop quiz: Which city has the lowest average property tax rate?

Columbus, Ohio is on an absolute exit liquidity streak right now. While everyone is fawning over the 105 degree summers of Miami and Austin, the city is quietly building a substantial angel network.

If only passive FITNESS existed. One area that's comparable is that your muscles burn more calories during rest.

Most interesting is "Which one is harder to teach?" I think FITNESS There's more lies, more gimmicks, and people believe they "know" how to do it ("Yeah, I could do it if I wanted") With money -- at least, investing -- people acknowledge they don't know anything
