Man Utd sure do know how to pick a billionaire.

More of this, please. What are they smoking over there in Brentford?

Why would these two things take priority over... signing players to make the team better and finish in the best place possible? These reasons make no sense when the team is struggling. You're admitting you can do something about it but won't. Good decision makers are proactive.

#mufc will only move for targets in January if long-term options become available or if they need to act to prevent a rival from taking the lead in the chase for a monitored player [@TheAthleticFC]

"So Ruben, how are you going to deal with the loss of Amad, Mbuemo and Mazroui when they head to AFCON? ...Ruben..? RUBEN!?!?"

Rubén Amorim abandoned all the key principles and pillars on which Manchester United identify themselves - playing with width, taking risks, prioritising academy players - and delivered the club's worst results in over half a century.

So.. I called it?

Thinking about Amorim's comments and I think they are more nuclear than is being made of them currently. To me he is saying re Wilcox to the board: "it's him or me". The Gary Neville comment especially cutting and "I'm the manager..." Think this is nearing it's end.

Four of Wolves' last 10 points in the Premier League have been won at Old Trafford

I think there is a player in Zirkzee but if you come on as a sub in any game and are walking while the other team have the ball, that's a criminal offence.

There is no dumber narrative in football than the "he is proving that Amorim/Manchester Utd were wrong about him". Most recently Hojlund. He is proving that he is still the player that Man Utd bought 2 years ago. A raw, fast, striker who can score some goals in Italy.

Absolutely criminal. This is a true mark of how far away the club now is from being the Manchester United we grew up loving.

Kobbie Mainoo to seek loan in January amid deep frustrations over game time under Ruben Amorim. But #MUFC expected to only make decision after AFCON. Amorim: “You love Kobbie. But that doesn’t mean I need to put Kobbie (on) when I feel I shouldn’t.” ⬇️ nytimes.com/athletic/68647…

People might think Eze is a fun addition to this Arsenal team, and he definitely is because he is a joy to watch. But he's also a vital addition and a key risk taker when it comes to playmaking. Makes the passes and cutting dribbles Odegaard just doesn't.

In a matchday where Liverpool lost 3-0 at Anfield to Forest, Man United still manage to be the banter story. Hard to believe what we just watched.
