We have no idea the burden that many people carry, for the blessings that we envy!

These are once-in-a-lifetime limbs. You can spend your lifetime following Manchester United winning multiple trophies from your sofa and never experience a moment like this. This right here is what it’s all about.

Conversations change compensation.

In order to be successful, we must make the right decisions early and manage those decisions daily.

“The fastest way to shape a culture is to show what’s important.” Mark Miller, Chick-fil-A

Who you learn from is as important as what you learn.

There is meaning in every journey that is unknown to the traveller.

Layered learning - your brain needs to hear it so many times before it reaches a deep level of 'oh, I grasped it!'

We see things not as they are we see things as we are. What we perceive is what we receive.

Leaders - You ought to help people look beyond the problem and see the solution. You can't bring the problem, unless you bring three solutions. Every problem has a solution if we are creative enough to find it.

I know every day if I don't have good intentional questions to ask, I am not going to have the discoveries I need to have. Questions unlock doors that wouldn't otherwise be unlocked. Good questions are good keys to unlock great doors.

Those who run with resilience have a deep sense of PURPOSE, a healthy PERSPECTIVE, an awareness of their PRIORITIES, and the PERSEVERANCE to keep going despite setbacks. It's a bounce back ability, a buoyancy, from the latin to 'get back up!'

The wrong question to ask is: 'what would you do if you knew you wouldn't fail.' This is unrealistic, we will definitely fail. The right question is: 'what could you do if you knew you would fail and it could lead to your success?'

Instead of asking 'how long will it take?' = goal oriented, ask 'how far can I go?' = growth oriented. One focuses on duration, the other distance! When growth is your goal there is no finish line!

Our lives provide co-ordinates to others who have a comparable journey.

Sometimes it’s a matter of just understanding that the more oversight you require from your boss, the less responsibility you’re going to enjoy.

Sometimes the enemy will cause us to focus on the few places we’re bound, and you miss all the places you’re free!

Sometimes God will lead you straight in the direction of your greatest fear. But often the freedom we want in the life that God has for us is just on the other side of the thing we fear the most.

Half-hearted attempts are easily defeated. When you’re not fully determined, you’ll be easily distracted.
