This is my latest article on Apache Pinot. Pinot allows you to nominate a small offline dimension table as a lookup table, that can be joined with a fact table using a primary key column to enrich the final result.
Lookup-based join support was added to @ApachePinot 0.7.1 so you can perform joins between fact and dimension tables. In his latest article, @dunithd demonstrates how lookup joins function with a working example. Read on! hubs.la/Q010Pb2V0
