If you were born gifted - smart - able to grasp things fast and with an eerie ability to piece together information and simplify ways to get things done - don’t move among idiots. Convert that ability into wealth and cut off them or they will shorten your life out of envy and

You ever work somewhere and realize the job ain’t even hard.. it’s the people who make it exhausting?

The smartest are quiet. The happiest are private.

By age 30, you should be smart enough to realize that a lack of consistency hurts you more than a lack of talent.

I can feel it

no one is more stressed than someone who has seen their potential and knows they aren't living up to it.

There was a girl in my university who used to bring her younger brother to campus sometimes. He’d sit in the library corner with coloring books while she attended lectures. Most people assumed she was just “helping out.” Later we found out their mom worked double shifts and

All of these students had to declare that they were able to financially support themselves to get their visas.

This is the queue for the University of Galway students’ union food pantry, where genuinely needy students can get some basics. The entire queue, as far as I can tell, is Indian. This erosion of social trust will eventually destroy the program.

Girl to girl, there may come a moment when you catch yourself thinking, “Maybe in another lifetime, I’ll get what’s meant for me.” Don’t let your mind settle there. This is the only life you’re promised. Go after what brings you light. Protect what makes you happy. Fight for the

Normalize lying to anyone who is too envious & curious about your private life. Yes I said it.

The less your coworkers know about your personal life the better. Trust me.

If you know how quickly people forget and move on from their sacked colleagues at work or even the dead, you will stop living to impress anybody.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but start living. The days are flying by, and all you do is work, pay bills, and stress. Enjoy what you can… walks, sunsets, music, laughter. Joy doesn't have to be expensive. You deserve it.

At work, stay professional. Coworkers will laugh with you today and report you tomorrow. Don't tell everybody your business. Do your job, get your check, and go home.

I saw this in Dubai, when 1 Indian enters management. A few years down the line the whole company becomes Indian.

Very real. I had a brilliant electrical engineer keeping putting forward subpar candidates for a few roles we had to fill. Until a friend of a friend applied (brilliant engineer and Anglo), I checked our systems and he’d been binned (along with many other Anglo and Asian

It happens all the time in tech at all levels. An Indian exec gets brought in, and soon his reporting chain is gradually replaced with people from his language group - pure cronyism. Another factor is feeling insecure about speaking to American reports due to a thick accent.

10Y from now (if not now) there will be social and business case studies about “how to not to behave as feudalist Indians when you move into management” FYI/, Indians in power/management not only tend to hire other Indians, but other Indians who are “inner circle” (caste or

I have personally experienced the Indians doing everything they could to eliminate all the non-Indians in a company. It's a pattern that has been thoroughly documented and made public, but companies and the governments keep hiring them. It's horrifying.
