Focus customers on problems, teams on solutions ☺️

To me, a good PRD is simply a strong argument that there is a problem worth solving, and a tee up to a constructive discussion on how to solve it. A good outcome of a PRD is a team (up, down, left, right) that wants to solve that problem and has the context to do it well.

In Build, @tfadell makes the point that the customer doesn’t care about whatever we call “the product”, they care about their whole experience. For him, makers should put care into every aspect of the journey. And community is one of those relevant touchpoints.

I mis-clicked on one of my 150 open tabs and it happened to be a tab that's been open since 2019 with a paper that has a solution to the exact research problem I've been puzzling over today. This is the moment I've been waiting for and I've decided to never close any tabs again

Damn Dall·E 2 by @OpenAI and @midjourney out here blowing my mind this week… sooo excited about what kinds of things will be unlocked with this amazing tech.

One thing we don't talk about enough in #productmgmt is how there is no ONE roadmap that rules them all. /1

Apple just announced how they will allow "Reader" apps to link to external account creation and management (including making non-IAP purchases). "Reader" apps sounds narrow but is a pretty meaty category, including the likes of Spotify, Netflix, and Kindle. 🧵

People often ask how @figma prioritizes its roadmap. It’s a hard question, which I’ll try to tackle over time in small bites. This first thread is about user input 1/n
