Ruby gets things done without filling your head with unnecessary verbiage. I like it.
Thanks to @anjuan and @aneika for an excellent talk recorded for Brighton Ruby about burning down burnout. I can attest to the problem having worked in software for 30 years so it's good to have recognition of and solutions for it.
Just got round to watching @eileencodes ' Brighton Ruby talk on multiple database implementation for Rails by github. Awesome. I can't wait to try it. It's a major feature for easy scalability. People who say Ruby / Rails won't handle high volumes will have to think again.
