Most teams think paid ads will fix weak marketing. But ads don’t create interest: they expose it. If people don’t care organically, your CPC will remind you fast. ads don’t make bad ideas scale, they make them fail faster
Everyone in Web3 wants viral campaigns. No one wants to repeat the boring stuff that actually works. Consistency doesn’t get clout, it gets results. you don’t build brands in spikes, you build them in streaks
5 years in Web3 and I’ve realized every campaign is just one big social experiment. You plan for conversion, but end up learning human psychology, meme timing, and patience.
You either adapt to CT or CT forgets you exist. Web3 marketing is 10% strategy, 90% explaining to founders why memes aren’t a growth hack. (and then making a meme anyway because it works.)
Repetition builds trust, not virality. Everyone wants reach until they realize awareness doesn’t mean attention. - You don’t need 100k impressions. - You need the same 1k people to remember you five times.
Projects brag about 100k followers post-TGE. But open their analytics and 95% are ghosts. 👻 Vanity looks good on CT. Retention looks better on a dashboard.
Every founder says ‘we’re focused on building.’ Until they realise builders alone don’t bring users. CT doesn’t care what you’re building if they have never heard of it.
Projects spend 6 months building a community, then ghost it the second the token drops.
