Exciting work from @Hudson_Research, @VPCCresearch, and colleagues announcing the world’s first Childhood Cancer Model Atlas (CCMA). Published today in @Cancer_Cell. Congratulations!
Featured in the prestigious scientific journal, Cancer Cell, one of our labs contains the Childhood Cancer Model Atlas (CCMA), the world’s largest collection of high-risk #Paediatric #Cancer cell lines, providing a unique, open-source facility to cancer researchers worldwide. 🌏
Interesting way to think of a cell, with some fun facts I wasn't aware of!
🌯 BIOLOGY IS A BURRITO 🌯 Cells are crowded and very fast places. It's a miracle that anything works at all. The central dogma is often depicted as DNA -> RNA -> proteins, but it's so much more: A biophysical marvel inside the smallest of vessels. 💓 open.substack.com/pub/cell/p/bur…
This was a fantastic project. Congrats to @sadras_t Paul Ekert and team on a terrific study of kinases behaving badly in the wild. Thanks for involving me and @ChrisH_NZ Great to see it online now in @LeukemiaJnl
Congratulations to @sadras_t et al, including some splendid work from @pseudokinase and co. for elucidating the mechanism of this novel genetic driver of B-cell leukaemia in children. Just published in @LeukemiaJnl nature.com/articles/s4137…
