This is very perceptive on crowdstrike
CrowdStrike CEO is getting pummeled for his response to the global outage. Why everyone hates it: 1) WEAPONS-GRADE CORPO SPEAK Let’s be clear. Legalese doublespeak is designed to dodge and obfuscate rather than inform or communicate. This statement was obviously written by a…
In the mid 70’s Larry Levan and Mel Cheren opened the Paradise Garage which for ten years held an unassailable reputation as New York’s most influential night club, and a sexual narcotic play ground to boot. 1/5

Just have to say a huge thank you to everyone for participating in this mental idea. If there was a common theme that came through, it was this was a near impossible task, but we managed to make it. A few people have requested the full 100 in order, so here it is.
Something I’ve been thinking about for a while is how governments, all of parties, have just given up on nation building. There’s no vision, no ambition, no creation of anything. Just administration and tweaks to regulation.
"My motto is that I don't care who runs the country, but I care passionately about how it's run. Our job is to sort truth from spin, to help readers through the complexity of issues." From Tim Colebatch's last column for The Age. A motto for all journalists.
This is terrible news, Bruce. Tim was one of the most outstanding journalists to cover federal politics in all my experience. Totally forensic and utterly professional. Could spot bullshit and expose it better than just about anyone. Also, a lovely bloke. Vale Tim.
