This is why a language to break down and talk about leadership is so important (cc: @Skills_Builder who have brilliant resources to support such conversations) because it has to cut through a lot of deep-rooted cultural norms girls internalise from day dot.
It isn’t that girls do not want to lead, they know that they are not seen as leaders, they will face discrimination & bias, the traditional style of leadership imposes a double-bind on them where they have to be aggressive but also not ‘too much’. I am v angry about this headline
The problem with today's report on education from the Tony Blair Institute is it reads like it could have been written in 1985. It's promoting ideas that were the future, once. And it doesn't even seem aware of genuinely cutting-edge ideas with transformative potential.

A reminder that research for the Met previously highlighted PNC checks as a key barrier for Black men applying to become police officers in London. One way that disproportionate contact with policing impacts on recruitment/representation. #policeworkforce
