Seniors were awesome for us tonight. @jakecackovic double double and a terror both ways, @samgoode06💪👑, Kingston Davis 6pts and played tough. Younger guys pretty great too: @ChaseOlgine08 12pts, @josiah_currie 6pts, Sam Webster 2pts and great individual and team D.
Big win for the Hawks to improve to 12-5 (5-2 SWAC). @josiah_currie an absolute beast (21pts), @jakecackovic 17pts/15reb. @samgoode06 8pts and as always absolute DAWG! @ChaseOlgine08, Kingston Davis, and Samuel Webster clutch buckets and D as well.
Senior Night win! Huge game from @williamjamesjr0 (32pts), @jakecackovic (18pts, 4 Made 3’s in a double double), @samgoode06 (an absolute dawg on both ends), Kingston with big minutes in his best game of the season and Simi with a great defensive rotation and steal!
SENIOR SPOTLIGHT Sam Goode has been an absolute dawg as a varsity basketball player. He’s been a great teammate and leader as a two-sport captain. Any team you have, you’d want Sam on it. He’s thought he was a senior for literally all of high school, he finally is one for real.
Josiah Currie (‘26) has had a great start to his Junior season impacting the game on both ends of the floor. He is shooting 40% from 3FG so far this year and had a huge game with 8 points, 2 assists (and 0 TO), 4 steals, and 9 deflections in our win over Clayton. @josiah_currie
