I really miss my kids and my coworkers, and a routine, but what I really miss is simply teaching a lesson. It brings me so much joy to teach everyday.
The best thing that happened to me this week were the two lil lamps from @IKEAUSA that I bought to help cozy my classroom up. I work hard for those babies to thrive in our space, and these damn lamps have been on my to do list for months.
What a way to start my morning, with a little dose of 2 year old wisdom. They are our future people, raise em up right.

Today I got a notification that my driver was Deaf or HoH, and with that notification was a link to a Lyft blog with a few signs to make it easier to communicate with their deaf employees. THIS. IS. INCLUSIVITY. Shoutout to @lyft for normalizing deaf culture and ASL!
