I rarely deem things worthy of the word ‘evil’ but this is one of them. Children are defenseless, and need to believe in their caregivers. This behavior damages developing brains & causes lifelong pain.

I 'look' the opposite of what ppl expect w/ my life circumstances. It's like getting punished for trying to do the right thing, bc no one gives me any kind of break when I can't function at 100% & on the rare occasion they learn my story, then I'm too fragile to be real with 🙄
