music while coding. yes or no ?

i think i’m finally out of my productivity rut :-) been feeling very worn down and unmotivated from 6+ months of job searching and my job. but today i’ve applied to 5 jobs, yesterday I played around with some new CSS (animated gradient backgrounds), and i feel motivated again!!!!

would love any insight on web dev/software dev internships that do not require enrollment in a college or university. for us bootcamp/self taught developers 🙏🏼🙏🏼

getting to take on a programming project for my current (non-tech) job :))

created a social media/entertainment blocking chrome extension to increase my productivity :)

everytime I push to github today i suddenly have to pee like realllllyyyyy bad.

on a non-coding note: absolutely died watching #FentyBowl halftime show. rihanna's music is literally the soundtrack to my life. my heart is so full.

today I worked on a take home assignment for a potential employer focusing on creating a modal UI to display data from a mock database. hardest part has been using Code Sandbox instead of VS Code, but the practice is good. get out of that comfort zone!

Fingers crossed 🤞and manifesting whatever is best for me in my software engineering journey. 🎮💫💻

rly want to say bootcamp bc i loved my bootcamp experience, but i think finding the first job would be a lot easier with a CS degree, University resources for finding internships, etc.

developers, choose ONE: - college degree - coding bootcamp - self taught

freecodecamping today to practice algorithms and data structures. met with someone about volunteering to do some web dev overhaul for a nonprofit, and applying to jobs. all before my shift at work tonight. i'm exhausted.

my first ever line of code was in HTML back in 2013 when I was editing my tumblr theme lmao

In which language did you write your first line of code, ever?

took a preliminary assessment for a javascript software engineer job today, and honestly… beefed the code challenged😭😭 solved it 10 mins later though. great practice though. next one will go better 💪
