Fantastic webinar talk today given by @PerriLab for @SSRepro BOR Winners Webinar Series on placental adaptations/changes to support fetal growth in differing gestational environments! Loved hearing more about the work from your lab!

It’s been a busy summer in the @LCSchulzLab! I had the opportunity to present some of my dissertation research on gestational diabetes pathophysiology at #SSR2023 and undergraduate researcher Ashley Monks was chosen as an @MUHonors Cherng Scholar, presenting her research today!

Harlan brightened the hearts of so many in the #Mizzou community. Campus won't be the same without him, but Harlan's fame shall last. 💛🖤

Heard from Dr. Adrienne Crosier (@smithsonian Conservation Biological Institute) this morning about assisted reproduction in the cheetah - best way to start any morning is with exotic repro talks! 🤩 thank you so much to Dr. Crosier for speaking to @MizzouBiology!

A 🧵 on burnout Yesterday I learned that when people are burnt out, their amygdala enlarges. For all you non-neuroscientists, here's what that means and why it's important. 1/ #AcademicChatter @AcademicChatter @CouragePhD

The holidays shouldn’t be a time to recharge. They should be a time to celebrate. If work is exhausting people to the point that they’re using their time off to recover, you might have a burnout culture. A healthy organization doesn’t leave people drained in the first place.

Extremely proud of @LCSchulzLab undergraduate researcher @juliann_leak for presenting her work on ACTC1 in early placental development today at @Mizzou #healthsciencesresearchday!
