One week later in my sd class, I have all calls together to mix them up, and to easily bring them back home. Real dancing starts...
in my new sd class I am just at the point where it is already easy to mix dancers up but really difficult to get them home.. quite exciting!
Started a new square dance group yesterday - 22 people, not bad. Almost no angels, so we are fresh to do something really new! Good thing.
Called two days ago for five to six squares. Very good atmosphere, people liked me - really reassuring. Good calling can be so easy! : - )
Yesterday out dancing. Realized that many girls use a completely wrong handhold in Promenade - with the left hand they try to shake hands..?

Called tonight for three squares - lots of fun. There is a moment when suddenly everyone gets tired. - It is essential to be aware of this.
It's not easy to substitute another caller half way in a class - you have only a vague idea of what they know or don't know and need most.
Replaced a colleague yesterday - mixed class/club night. I love teaching, but this was quite stressing.
Didn't write for quite some time! - Today, we made a nice bicycle tour to the North of Cologne, close to the Rhine. Fantastic!
sd: Will call in Aachen on Tuesday - looking very forward for that! :-) But of course, this also means some preparation.
