Arsenal this summer took a different approach to building the squad and while it is still early, it already looks like it is paying dividends and has seen a change in the patterns from what Mikel Arteta did previously. Is Mikel Arteta starting to crack rotation?…

Here is how things have changed this season on the simulation.

Arsenal - Strength of Schedule so far this season and a look ahead at the next 10 matches

For what it is worth, Liverpool have played a tougher schedule. It isn’t a massive difference at 7 matches and not significantly different than Arsenal. Arsenal have played a lot better.

Liverpool have played Bournemouth, Palace and Arsenal who are all in the top 6, aswell as a Merseyside derby and Chelsea away. Arsenal have played a garbage United side aswell as Forest, West Ham and Leeds at home and yet people claim they've had a "harder start". Ok then. 🙄
Premier League Simulation - 2025-10-07 It is interesting that the model hates Chelsea (relative) and loves Newcastle. Also not bought into Crystal Palace and Bournemouth. It is also putting Arsenal >50% for the first time this season.
