Today we share the sad news of one of our oldest and well-respected players. YellerCukes passed away Sunday at the age of 83. Since 2013 he made his mark on QONQR. 947 captures, 1091 leads, and 197 million bots on the map. Photo from his 75th birthday. tinyurl.com/ycukes

App Security in #dotnetmaui ? @JamesMontemagno @davidortinau do you have a blog or video? How do I stop Android hackers from ripping apart my APK and building a clone to modify and bypass business rules or automate api calls in my app? Any advice for developers on protecting IP?
Hey @SPIREcu your website gives the great advice to never share your bank account login info. But to register my non-profit with your @netgiverapp I need to give you my bank username and password, which is then stored by @Plaid. This is a bad. Very bad. support-my.plaid.com/hc/en-us/artic…
Looking forward to speaking at my first virtual conference next week.
Scott will cover the difficult lessons @QONQR developers learned so you can avoid the same issues. Learn how to avoid replay attacks, how to “hide” verification tokens in your API traffic, and why depending on SSL to protect your traffic from the end user is a terrible idea.
Hey @Stratasys and @dunwoodycollege, a small design change to your face shield makes it possible to secure the shield from falling off. My shields created with a 3-hole punch keep falling off without this change. sme.org/technologies/a…
Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about not being a computer programmer anymore. The problem is, that’s the only career and skills that I have. I’m just not doing well at it anymore. This really makes me sad to admit.

Our robotics team (I'm a coach) is putting on a robot camp in 2 weeks. Needed to learn CAD so we could design a chassis to be laser cut and/or 3D printed. I'm excited to be learning a new skill.
My hope for the next generation of software developers is that maybe one day building software will once again be about spending most of their time writing code, not fighting the platforms it runs on. #iOS #Android #Azure
Cool twitter moment: A core tenant of FIRST Robotics is coopertition®. Helping other teams compete, even if they compete against you. Out of the blue, a team from 600 miles away asked us to make a robot part because they ran out of time. awesome! <3 this sport #OMGRobots @Prusa3D
One of the best parts of #FRC is helping other teams compete and knowing others will help you. Late last night, team 4593 tweeted us asking if we could 3D print a part & bring it for them, because they didn’t have time before they had to hit the road. That is awesome! #OMGRobots
"It's too cold for robotics" -said no Minnesota FRC team ever. #OMGrobots #PolarVortex2019 #DeepFreeze
What do you do when you have a dozen cables hanging off the back of your desk? Repurpose an old CD rack into a cable trap of course. #LifeHack
I saw @scottkdavis explain just how hard it is to secure a mobile game at the Twin Cities .NET User Group Thursday night. tom-jaeschke.blogspot.com/2018/11/i-saw-…
I think I have said this at least twice this week and dozens of times this year. Fake points and meaningless ranks move the world. theguardian.com/business/2018/…
You know you play too much QONQR when: You almost miss a connecting flight because you were trying to capture some zones on a layover. -Cheesemoo
I generally discourage all entrepreneurs who think they want to start a game company. I encourage all "game developers" who think they want to make an indie game to do it in their spare time until the game is too successful and you MUST quit your job. gamesindustry.biz/articles/2018-…
Not feeling well today. I think I'm going to take a personal day. Oh... I'm still going to work, but this way anything I get done is bonus productivity. #Entrepreneur
