Discord user IDs getting leaked is the entirely predictable consequence of requiring platforms to do age verification. That data never goes away, it spreads. In this case, into appeals in a breached customer support. And predictably, it can get worse. 404media.co/the-discord-ha…"

We are alarmed by reports that Germany is on the verge of a catastrophic about-face, reversing its longstanding and principled opposition to the EU’s Chat Control proposal which, if passed, could spell the end of the right to privacy in Europe. signal.org/blog/pdfs/germ…


Its 2035, and the UK has just passed laws requiring you to use your digital ID to: 1) use a public bathroom 2) have sex with a new partner 3) order spicy food.

Why isn't there a stable coin dashboard. Not of tvl , but of adoption outside of crypto. Folks holding it because it's more stable than their country's banking, etc. The data is all public to analyze, even if the analysis is at best heuristic at worst just noise.


Chernobyl radioactive waste RNG. I forgot about this. @ebfull @rel_zeta_tech and I wrote Powers of Tau to let anyone participate in zk setup ceremonies, originally for zcash, but variants are now everywhere. It got some fun participants, including a radioactive RNG on a plane.
