Civic Center station has reopened and there are major delays systemwide due to an equipment problem on the track. Trains are using a single track between 24th St. Mission and Montgomery St. stations at this time. There is no Green or Red Line service at this time.
FINAL UPDATE: Civic Center Station has re-opened and trains are servicing the station in both directions.
UPDATE #4: Fire Dept. activity at Market/7th cleared. IB/OB #FMarket, 7 and 9R have resumed regular service. Civic Center Station remains closed at this time & #MuniMetro will bypass the station in both directions.
1130 hours on 11/25/2025 - An incident has occurred with BART civic center station on the third rail. A electrical fire happened on the third rail. Crews quickly and safely extinguished the fire with a dry chemical extinguisher. There are no injuries at this time. Please…
