1984ലാണ് ആദ്യമായി സമഗ്ര പരിസ്ഥിതി സംരക്ഷണ നിയമം കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നത്. വ്യവസായങ്ങളും മറ്റും പാരിസ്ഥിതിക നിയമങ്ങൾ പാലിച്ചു മാത്രമേ ആരംഭിക്കൂ എന്നുറപ്പാക്കുവാൻ വേണ്ടിയാണ് അത്തരം ഒരു നിയമനിർമ്മാണം നടത്തിയത്. ആ നിയമങ്ങളിൽ വെള്ളം ചേർക്കുകയാണ് Draft EIA 2020. #RejectEIA2020
