Obviously #BLM must be first and front of any change. But sooner or later Britain's centuries long suppression, exploitation and marginalisation of it's working class people - forced into servitude - should be addressed. We had no opportunity. Educated to serve. It continues.
2020 should just be regarded as a lost academic year. And that’s not bad or good, if we collectively acknowledge it. It’s just what happened. Kids still grew, imagined, got bored, persevered & totally learned things. But most didn’t bound ahead in long division or whatever.
Schools should just act as though no one did any substantial (academic) learning during lockdown. It’s not the schools’ fault either. Mass remote learning for kids isn’t a real thing that exists. (Which is a good thing; kids should be together)
