As the price of gold goes up, gold mining companies are incentivized to increase the emission of gold. As Bitcoin goes up, the supply stays capped at 21 million and as interest in mining increases so does the difficulty to mine which is adjusted approximately every 2 weeks.

Not sure who needs to hear this but a government shutdown will not change your life in any way. You will still owe taxes to pay for a government that "shut down".
Instead of a government shutdown can we have a Federal Reserve shutdown?
I miss the days of the average bull market correction being 30-50 percent. The volatility was fun back then. People stayed engaged the entire duration of the bull market and nobody was "bored" Also nobody cared about any politician buying BTC. Those were some beautiful days
