Here is my special moment with Codex; I wanted my API tests to run locally in GitHub actions but it was proving difficult. Whilst I was away having time with my family, Codex pushed and analysed many times and in an 1 hour and 20 minutes … solved it! (5.2-codex medium)

Mind blown: Perplexity’s Comet saved me a full day by combining my pre-made custom GPT with its agentic browser to nail 58 detailed client security questions filling in answers automatically from our GPT. Left it running, checked in twice, and owned my day! 🚀 #AI #PerplexityAI
I've definitely made the switch now. Codex CLI (and Codex in the Cloud) are just basically brilliant. Gemini CLI had my heart for a while there, but even asking the same query to both, Codex still comes out on top.
GPT-5 Thinking is officially amazing in my opinion. My son has a magic book and over breakfast my son told me it just basically doesn't work. I confirmed it, plugged it into GPT-Thinking, and it correctly identified the mistype in the book (multiply first number by 5, not 2).

Today was an amazing day. Using Codex CLI from OpenAI and GPT-5, I was able to complete a super-high-quality piece of work in one day that would otherwise have taken me a week and a half to code.
