After 6 years of service the Isambard 2 supercomputer is finally being retired! Starting in May 2018, Isambard was the world's first production Arm-based supercomputer, employing ThunderX2 CPUs. Isambard 3 takes over today using NVIDIA Grace Arm-based CPUs provided by HPE

Data centres are the engines of modern life, they power the digital economy and keep our information safe. Bringing them into the Critical National Infrastructure regime will allow better coordination and cooperation with gov against cyber criminals and unexpected events.
Data centres power our economy. From enabling you to get your NHS prescription, to paying for things online. ❗ We've now classed UK data centres as Critical National Infrastructure. 🔒 This means that we can help prevent threats and act quickly in the event of a cyber attack.
🎉 We are thrilled to announce the NAG HPC Student Award winner 2024, Roan Vickerman! Roan achieved an outstanding level of work on the #HPC course at the University of Bristol this year, as the highest performing student among a hugely impressive #student cohort.
