I had coffee with Superintendent Mary Templeton this morning and she delivered my master teacher apple that the administration gifts board members at the end of a term. Last year was so hairy that it didn’t happen in person. 1/2

Please watch this. This is the world we have been trying to leave behind for the past fifty years, and it is the world the radical right wants to bring back. Think of all the smart voices that will be silenced in favor of smug white male fools if we allow this to happen. #BTDT

Yeah the white, southern, male misogyny and condescension might play in some places, but keep dishing it out so we can keep winning elections.

Absolutely not. If Republicans are going to run the House in a partisan way, they’re not going to get bipartisan support for their Speaker. If they want to talk about a stable, bipartisan governing arrangement, I’m here to work with them for the good of Southwest Washington.

My timber heritage and work in the trades inform my work for #WA03.   When I'm looking at a bill, I think about how it affects working families, mom and pop shops, or local farms.    Because it's crucial legislation doesn't create extra burdens & respects folks' self-sufficiency.

Just like he said: he did it.

Trump brags about overturning Roe v. Wade: I did it. I’m proud to have done it. It was a miracle

Three years ago. Remember.

Remember these next 48 hours. These are some of the most important days in American history.

Three years ago today I watched a mob attack our governor’s residence while another mob attacked our nation’s Capitol. Both were repulsed, but here’s the hard truth - so long as those engaged in insurrection are at large, and running for office, that day’s events are not over.

Common sense initiatives like a "parental rights" initiative that demands things parents already have the right to do in public ed like opt kids out of sex ed, view curriculum, & have a say in the curriculum adoption process? What a waste of time & money. #waleg #waedu #waelex

Republicans’ anti-abortion laws are making it dangerous, costly, and impossible in many cases for women to get the reproductive health care they need. This is the dystopian reality Republicans have created—and it's on all of us to keep speaking out and fight back.

RT if you agree that we need to restore Roe and protect every woman's right to make her own health care decisions.

At long last! Thanks to our representative and our senators for making this happen!

When I’ve got my 2-year-old in the car I refuse to drive on the old I-5 bridge, due to its instability should an earthquake happen. The risks to life and our economy this century-old bridge poses can’t be ignored any longer. I’m thrilled we secured $600 million to replace it.

Donna Sinclair reposted

Joe Kent’s “plan” to pay for the bridge is to make drivers pay more tolls for a longer time, all because he won’t fight to bring home our tax dollars like I do. That’s the difference between a working mom who gets results and a guy who spends all day posting conspiracies online.

Marie’s plan has Portland’s best interests in mind, use our state & federal tax payer dollars then make Washingtonians pay again w/ tolls. Good deal for Portland, wrong for SW WA. We can fix the I5 crossing without tolls or light rail dumping Portlandia into Vancouver.

Congratulations @VancouverUS and Mayor Anne!

🚨 MEGA NEWS! 🚨 $600M in @USDOT Mega funds were just awarded to replace the I-5 Bridge! 🌉 I'm so glad we could help secure this huge win for Southwest Washington – and I'll keep working to bring every possible federal dollar home to get this project done.
