Ive always wanted to do a small project but i didnt want to do the usual to do app/weather app (although I'll still do it at some point) but thankfully these days I've been thinking of one particular thing i want to do so hopefully in the next few months ill be posting something
Sometimes, i feel like when you've been working with complex problems for so long, suddenly getting asked simple questions throws them off because they've likely just forgotten how to do them after so long ๐คท๐ฝโโ๏ธ
I've interviewed candidates with Masters degrees and 12 years of experience absolutely get demolished by FizzBuzz-level questions. It sucks that you have to do these simple screens for experienced candidates, but it's absolutely necessary.
General lack of empathy for the ppl you fired and not only that, would AI seriously be better when most people prefer to talk to real customer service agents, especially when the problem is specific??
We had to layoff 90% of our support team because of this AI chatbot. Tough? Yes. Necessary? Absolutely. The results? Time to first response went from 1m 44s to INSTANT! Resolution time went from 2h 13m to 3m 12s Customer support costs reduced by ~85% Here's how's we did it ๐งต
I recently subscribed to this newsletter and the weekly stories have been really inspiring especially this week's one being about a somali from a poor background essentially breaking into higher paid tech roles. Seriously inspirational! Here's a link: employ-digital.beehiiv.com/subscribe?ref=โฆ
Literally the only reason why I'm stepping into tech is because i want to provide a better lifestyle not just for myself but also my family. Insha'Allah i get there one day
Class and constructors really not making sense to me. Had to shut the laptop and walk away for a minute bc what....
So i made a simple static website a few weeks ago. It was a project i originally skipped over a few months ago to continue on with my javascript learning but i decided to circle back and do it so here it is! museum-of-candy-01.netlify.app #buildinpublic #100DaysOfCode #CodeNewbies
Forget kubernetes ive still to understand what on earth docker is the tutorial has been in my bookmarks for months but where art thou the attention to start it ๐คท๐ฝโโ๏ธ๐ฉ
I've been deep into tech for years, and I still have no clue what Kubernetes is.
Sometimes i get imposter syndrome, but then on rare occasions, i get to come across a big company's website, and the website in question is just.. horrible both design and seo wise. Then i get a little bit happier bc I'm actually able to now spot what could be improved on
Is there a job where you only need to know basic sql queries ๐ญ๐ฉ
I really feel like im not made to work like im just a silly girl who wants to drink her silly little drinks and go on slow walks and nap wdym i have to work!!!!!
I met someone who could have retired 10 years ago but just kept working because they enjoyed it. I'll never understand why people do this to themselves? ๐ญ Note: Not running their own business, working for someone else.
Seeing the fall of reddit in real time is kinda of fascinating. This is basically what ppl thought would happen to this bird app last year
I've always liked golang!!!

Webflow i will conquer your website one day Insha'Allah this isnt the end!!!
But what is its main purpose here like what does it accomplish that a phone already doesn't? I dont see the reason why ppl would throw down 3k for this ๐คท๐ฝโโ๏ธ
Okay so the Vision Pro is wild You scroll through apps using your eyes Then select by tapping your fingers No haptic controls necessary

I really want to get into golang so golang and maybe php i guess
Okay so the Vision Pro is wild You scroll through apps using your eyes Then select by tapping your fingers No haptic controls necessary

Also makes me not want to even go through all of that just to ask for the price like do companies not know how many potential customers they're losing??
*searching for a saas tool* opens website can't find "pricing" in the menu *scrolls* sees "Request a Demo" prob too expensive closes tab
