Snagscope 1.84 published to Google Play & other app stores. This release addresses many of the problems that users have had recently, including crashing on older devices, partial saves on private broadcasts, periscope links from Twitter app not working, and more. Please update.

The @amazonappstore recently rejected our app update for facilitating "illegal download of content". Our app works with Periscope content, which is public content. Twitter's own Terms of Service even says so. What's up Amazon!? forums.developer.amazon.com/questions/1937…
Snagscope now has the ability to view and download broadcasts from users you are following, including *private* broadcasts. Just link to your Periscope account in Settings and press & hold broadcast to begin capture. #download #private #periscope #videos #live #android #app #news

The new version of Snagscope can now go back and capture the parts of a live broadcast you missed. Just enable the "Trackback" feature in Settings.
Snagscope v1.54 now includes native mp4 support for armeabi, armeabi-v7a, arm64-v8a, x86, x86_64. So, if Periscope broadcasts were saving as .ts files on your device before, now they'll save as .mp4 files by default. If you prefer the .ts files, you can change it back in Settings
You can find older versions of Periscope app on uptodown.com. Make sure to enable "Unknown Sources" in Settings so that you can install the APK. Previous versions available here: periscope.en.uptodown.com/android/old
Periscope modified their app to return to the home after viewing a broadcast, so now in our app you have to back button twice to return to Snagscope. This isn't a fault of our app. If it bothers you, then you can restore the previous behavior by downgrading Periscope to v1.17.2
New version of Snagscope (v1.52) now available in Google Play and Amazon App Store. This version includes support for #Periscope Producer broadcasts, improved SD-card detection, and new UI Dark Themes for better night viewing.
