If you want to access primary care or to be referred for government covered services say to a specialist, imaging or labs you can access it same day in BC if you pay. I’m not sure most in BC know this is a reality.
We should congratulate the BC NDP for greatly improving access to primary care for patients in BC. They've made it possible to get same-day access to a primary care provider who can see you, order lab tests, refer you to specialists, and much more.
