Day 3 I improved the start & game over screen, improved asteroid generation ( more balanced and more added every 'level'), and added sound effects. I think I will try to wrap up this project on day 4, I've taken it much further than I originally intended.
Day 2 I added better sprites, scolling background, start & game over screen, improved collisions, and a 'giant' rare asteroid. I plan on adding sound effects and improving, expanding upon the UI.
This is my progress on day 1 of building an infinite space shooter in Unity 2D. I have yet to add the menus and other tweaking that would make the game in a more polished, finished state.
I am planning on making one game a day for the next fifteen days. There will be some projects that will end up taking multiple days but "15 games in 15 days" is what I am stretching for over the next couple weeks. I will be posting my progress to Twitter for documentation.
