I don't wanna say 'I told you so', but I told you so.

Why can AIs code for 1h but not 10h? A simple explanation: if there's a 10% chance of error per 10min step (say), the success rate is: 1h: 53% 4h: 8% 10h: 0.002% @tobyordoxford has tested this 'constant error rate' theory and shown it's a good fit for the data chance of…

Easily the best actual innovation Apple has made in years.Using their massive research base and platform to explain what I was saying for the past 2+ years.Llms are just glorified dumb neural networks at scale.Sometimes best innovation is to admit we were going the wrong way.

In the end, LLM/LRMs may be a better exploration of the people in tech, than of the tech itself ... .. the greatest of all Rorschach tests.

the real purpose of LLMs(what you call "AI") is to become a weapon of mass control

this and data loss by the big companies. they are never getting any accountability for getting wrong doing with AI or loosing people's private information at scale. we need to make class action court cases popular again if the gov doesn't do it's job anymore.

And yet we have no concrete way of holding those companies accountable; Dan even mentioned facing serious corporate retaliation & denial post-publication...If cos are already releasing AI into the wild, exactly how do we hope to hold them accountable for the damage once they do?

proving again that so called "journalism" is just an industry feeding on bates and victim hoods. They will not write about success examples anymore because just good stories don't steer clicks and controversies.

My first interaction with a journalist was 10 years ago on WIRED in 2014! I was so excited they wanted to write about me, the journalist said he loved my 12 startups project and wanted to tell everyone about it, I was like hell yeah! 😝 In the middle of the interview the tone…
