@sophiebip1982 This is brilliant and should be shown in every mental health trust in @NHSEngland maybe in acute trusts to for it is their A&E's who deal with initially. Add it also to induction days. Information and insight from patients is vital and needs to be heard.

Today has been a slow and content day. My chakras are aligning and the chaos is suspended in mid air. Peace is back in my life and I am so grateful.
#Mentalhealth charities & campaign groups rightly decry NHS waiting lists for MH care, but omit to mention that most folks with mental ill-health are not on any waiting list - whether because of ignored/rejected referrals or, as here, rediagnosis & #offrolling of SMI patients
I had an existing (18 years) diagnosis of bipolar disorder, complete with full support, medication, CPN etc. Then the NHS decided a convenient rediagnosis to BPD would allow them to discharge me with nothing. Had to go private to get meds reinstated. NHS gaslighting.
A bit of a reflection on how crisis teams can improve their practice. The audio is a bit fucked at the beginning but can't bear to record it again.
People need to stop telling disabled people how to exist. It's so tedious.
I post this occasionally, and I think it is important to remember. Social media rarely shows the entirety of what is happening in someone's life. For this reason, I believe it is important to be compassionate and kind to others, and ourselves.
