2/3 However… …the appendix of their Bible says Satan was hurled to earth “About 1914 CE”. If “about 1914” means 1915- WWI already started. Cause after effect. If “around 1914” means 1913- Jesus isn’t King yet, so he can’t have hurled Satan to earth yet.

If you cannot leave your religion without harm coming to you, or without your dignity in tact, then that group is harming you. There is no freedom of religion if you are not free to leave it.

Change “Lord” to “Jehovah” and you would assume you were reading a Watchtower quote. This is actually from The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons). “Acquiring Spiritual Knowledge,” Doctrinal Mastery Core Document (2016)

In case anyone ever says that Watchtower never actually said beards were wrong.....

Remember when JW weren’t even allowed to grow a beard for dramas? A false one was to be worn.

Remember when excommunication and ostracism was viewed as a “cowardly action” perpetuated by “mean and unmanly scallywags”? Yes #JW literature derided such threats by the Clergy saying the truth would soon set people free from such fears. -Consolation, Nov 17, 1937

Watchtower/ #JW, an organization which requires two witnesses to CSA, admits assaults on children are “cloaked in secrecy”. This 1993 Awake! highlights the hush-hush attitude about it, and the “conspiracy of silence” that allowed persistent CSA in the Catholic Church.

1/6 This Watchtower quote clearly defines "governors" (“chief men”) as those who “rule over” Jehovah's Witnesses and must be obeyed. This contrasts with the Governing Body's claim of merely "taking the lead.” -Watchtower, Feb 1, 1943

How can you determine which one of these religions is the true one?

“New Light” isn’t just a concept of Watch Tower/ Jehovah’s Witnesses. It is a crucial concept to Seventh Day Adventists.

Why are they only ever referred to as a group, governing body, rather than as individuals, as governors. An elder body is comprised of elders. A governing body is comprised of governors. Yet they’re never called that. “Our next talk will be delivered by Governor Geoffrey Jackson”

I ♥️ this quote. If you're sure about something, nothing can dissuade you. I know 100% that my children love me and I would not fear any message that claimed they do not. The truth does not fear being challenged.

Not sure where this quote came from, just found it in my notes: “If you fear that reading skeptical literature will cause you to doubt your religion, you already doubt your religion.” #exjw #ttatt #cults #watchtower #jworg

Changes made by other religions are cited as evidence of their lack of divine guidance and reasons for losing faith in their leaders. Changes made by Watchtower are explained as reasons for building faith and trusting in divine guidance. Make it make sense.

Yet they have no problem condemning other religions for doing the same thing
