"Big corporations control everything under capitalism, so we need to add more regulations!" Actually, big corporations LOVE regulations. Why? Because small competitors can't afford armies of lawyers and compliance officers.
Unfortunately a lot of progressives have positively-polarized themselves in favor of any kind of regulation, whether or not it helps regular people.
