Working on a SQLSentry/sentryone upgrade and stuck with both servers not having licenses. Portal says are activated but server/licensingmanager say they aren't there. Anyone have an idea about how to fix this? Ticket sent & phn hold hr+ & got hung up on #sqlhelp #solarwinds
It seems that you only get one shot to activate them and if you have more than one monitoring service active at the time of upgrade and license "check-in" SW will need to reset the licensing. To make matters slightly worse, from what I understand only one or two people at SW 1/2
Wow...One shot to upgrade then you need help. This is a significant gotcha...almost as big as their tech supports inability to address this issue on a weekend
