Does anyone know if it's possible to add an AWS node to an OnPrem availability group? #sqlhelp #sqlha
There is a VPN being used. We are trying to setup a mult-domain availability group that extends to AWS. The AWS node adds but then shows as not being joined. The firewalls/security groups are set to allow all internal traffic.
If your AG spans multiple domains, you need to use certificates for endpoints. You did that, right? #sqlhelp
Trying distributed AGs would be the next step is this doesn't work out
Well without seeing error messages from@SQL Server (regular log and alwayson_health) no idea why it is failing.
