Jerusalem carries deep importance symbolically. But the whole creation is now holy land (Roman’s 8) with its risen Jesus and the Spirit filled. The world will be renewed for sure but Middle Eastern headlines are not prophecy updates. Having said that I support Israel existing.
The real story isn’t about God outlining Israel’s national timeline. It’s that God’s promises came to fulfilment in Israel’s Messiah, Jesus who’s now saved Jew and Gentile into one renewed family. That’s the new covenant truth!
Calling Israel “God’s time clock” sounds cool, but it’s not how Jesus framed things. When he talked about the fig tree and Jerusalem’s fall (Matt 24), he was warning his generation about the Temple’s destruction in AD 70 - not giving us a coded map of the modern Middle East
